I am working as Police Head constable at Belagavi Police Head quarters and got diagnosed with Vericose Vein problem around 10 years back. As a treatment initiative consulted different doctors and had different prescriptions and treatments, used to have temporary relief and the pain used to re-appear after a gap.

This repeated pain and suffering kept on impacting my personal and family life a lot.

Then came to know about Dr.Sunder Narasimhan (Senior Vascular Surgeon) at Apollo Hospital, Bangalore.

The Senior doctor with his team of expert doctors analysed my case thoroughly and performed all the necessary diagnosis (Lower Limb DVT) and tests. The team explained to me and my family the situation and the blockage in the nerves and performed ' Peripheral Angiogram and Balloon Angioplasty.

From the above medical terminology and explanation by the doctors what me and my family understood was that 'The main vein which was carrying blood from the lower part of the body below the waist to the upper part was blocked and there was pressure on the side nerves which started carrying the blood. This pressure on the small nerves made them to bulge due to which I started feeling the pain in the leg, thy and waist.

SURGERY: Dr. Sunder Narsimhan and his team performed Balloon Angioplasty initially and Dr Sunder sir told us that Peripheral Angiography and Peripheral Angioplasty need to be performed immediately or has to be done soon to get relief, if not would severe the pain and consequences. Me and My family decided to go ahead with the vascular surgery.

EXPERIENCE: The whole process took 3 days and the team of doctors and nurses took utmost care of me and even the facility and approach was very friendly for me and my family members.

The doctor and his expertise in this field has benefited me and has relieved me of the pain. Its 15 days now and am recovering and continuing with two sets of tablets as prescribed by the doctor.

Before I begin I would like to thank Dr Sundar and his team from bottom of my heart for good treatment given to My father(Basanagouda) who was suffering from Aortoiliac occlusion disease.

Before meeting Dr Sunder, my father had already undergone angiogram with other doctors for the same problem but unfortunately that was not a success story, my father uses to complain same problems (unable to walk after 100 meters, thigh and legs pain, lower backache).

Met doctor Sunder who could not only diagnose the root of the problem, also the best possible way of treating it. As the blockage was just starting of the right iliac arteria and there were possible chances of occlusion getting passed to left iliac artery.

Special thanks to Dr Sunder for diagnosing the problem and explaining with patience and stretching himself till night 12 O’clock to make sure that the post operation procedures taken care and patient is relaxed.

Dr Sunder did Angioplasty to my father to clear the blocks and inserted stent. I’m happy and relaxed now as my father is Happy and relaxed he can walk and also he got relived from the pain
