Dr Soumya has been our family doctor for 4 years now and has treated us in the past for any medical requirement.On the 28Apr, my wife had symptoms of Covid and we contacted Dr Soumya, who after a patient hearing, asked us to get the RT-PCR test done immediately.On the 30thApr, my son and self showed similar symptoms, we condulted her, after hearing us recommended us to get RT-PCR done immediately and proactively put me on preventive medication as I am above 50.

The results indicated we are positive less my wife ,so she immediately put us on the required medicines and took us through a complete briefing on how we need to home isolate, precautions to be taken, monitoring of various parameters etc...she monitored us very closely and kept track of our progress.Despite medication, I did not settle down and based on the symptoms, took a course correction of the medication and after the 8th day, I started stablizing.However to ensure, I am fully out of the infection, she put me on the required duration of medication and tapered it as per the medical practice.Since Covid has side effects,I was advised a few blood tests and basis that, I was put on Medication due to the reading beyond accepted levels...I was monitored very closely on every alternate day and within 14 days I was back on my feet... While recovery depends on person to person, one important factor is the trust and faith you have in the doctor and this was a major factor which helped me recover ....thank you Dr for getting me back on my feet despite age being against me as we have seen the pattern in this pandemic

Dr Soumnya is out family doctor and has been guiding and treating with utmost care. Reached out to her for the post covid home quarantine to understand what necessary care needs to be taken up. That was a timely help which saved my family as the D Dimer had shot up above the parameters. The way the doctor approaches the patient with so much friendliness and care, helps the patient get recovered faster. The old saying that when you reach out to a doctor and of the doctor gives you a warm and caring smile, half your problem is resolved. That is the experience that we have had with her always. I have been in touch with Dr.Soumya from 2017. She is the most optimistic,calm and friendly doctor. She boosts the confidence in her patients and gives them hope which is very important for patients. That's the major factor for me to not change my doctor till date. One more important thing is she LISTENS well to what patient has to convey which many doctors doesn't do (my experience)Her way of explaining things is very clear and diagnosis has always been accurate. If required she even refers to other specialists for further diagnosis of particular problems. My family highly recommends her.
