I had large stone in right kidney (~15mm) along with other small ones. It was creating problems once in while for me and I decided to get it removed. My wife searched and found this place. We took appointment mainly because it had good reviews and was near to my house.
Staff is very helpful & courteous and they will do regular follow-up with you. Facility is good and place is very well maintained. All documents including insurance claim related very readily provided.
In my first appointment, Dr Rajeev Bashetty asked in detail about problem and suggested possible solutions. Had ultrasound report handy. ESWL being the first preference, if not successful then other surgical procedures like ureteroscopy etc. Doctor was very forthright is telling success rates of ESWL. Was transparent about cost also. Before procedure Dr asked all reports like CT, Ultrasound, other tests etc to access everything properly.
Usually, it may take 2-3 sittings but my stone was little hard so I needed 3 sittings of ESWL to get stones in Kidney broken and one extra sitting since stones were stuck in the pipe between kidney and bladder. After few days of final sitting, I passed all stones. Overall, it took around more than month for treatment.
This procedure needs patience as there may be multiple sittings and gaps between each sitting, so be mentally prepared. But don’t worry, Dr will take care & is very helpful.
Overall, very happy with the professionalism of the Doctor. Instils confidence in patients. Would definitely recommend anyone having stone problems to visit Dr Rajeev.

during my treatment I had almost 3 UTI one after the other and the bacteria that was causing the UTI was different on the 3rd occasion . After taking medicines for 7 days the UTI was resolved and urine culture showed no bacteria. if you have recurrent UTI - you have to probably check once in a while if bacteria is there or not ..so out of curiosity I just did another Urine culture 4 days after the UTI treatment was completed and it showed E Coli bacteria present . I went to Dr and he asked me whether Urine sample was a home sample or did I go to the lab and gave the sample . I told him it was a HOME SAMPLE . He told me we should NOT rely on the home sample (as there can be many factors that may come into play like how the sample is taken to the lab etc) and asked me to repeat the test . to my surprise he was RIGHT and there was no bacteria found in lab test. I thank the dr for his advice as it avoided taking another round of Antibiotics which may have weakened by immune system in the long run.
The dr also provides you response via WhatsApp which has helped me immensely during these UTI days.. Read less

In Sep 22, all of a sudden I started feeling pain in lower back and abdomen. Initially I thought sprain due to exercise.
Next day I visited a Urologist in big hospital on the ORR. After initial examination doctor asked me to have CT KUB, USG abdomen, Blood and Urine routines.
Same day evening I met the doctor with all the reports, immediately Dr has asked me to undergo RRIS (internal procedure) because I have a 8.8MM stone in PUJ. He advised me to plan for the procedure earliest and routed me to his assistant. Things were moving so quick and I was not sure how to deal with this. To have a second opinion I visited Dr.Girish Nelvigi and he suggested to go for ESWL as a first line of treatment due to the stone size.
Next day, I met Dr.Rajeev at his clinic Matoshree in HSR layout. Dr was ** ************* *** patient to hear and address all my concerns. He went through all my reports and gave me his opinion. Dr explained me the problem, solution, success rate, risks involved and further steps. Then I underwent ESWL with Dr.Rajeev, during the entire procedure he was so co-operative answering all my queries. Prior and post procedure Dr was in touch through Video calls which were really helpful. Today I am relieved of the pain and stones.
I really would like to thank Dr.Rajeev and his staff from the bottom of my heart.

I went to some fancy hospital and they told me around 2.5L for the treatment. Then my cousin asked me to consult Dr. Rajeev once. Let me tell you, he is the most polite doctor I have ever met. Very honest about his work. He listened to me with all the patience and advised what best at that time. I got treated for right kidney stone using URS done by Dr. Rajeev. The process was almost painless(some manageable discomfort after the operation).
Then comes the most difficult part. I had a 12mm stone in my left kidney. The option was RIRS and ESWL. Since the right side stone was very hard, ESWL wasn't looking like a good option. But since RIRS wasn't covered in my medical policy, he agreed to try ESWL on my request and said that he WILL NOT CHARGE if stone isn't broken(and then RIRS was the option). Can you believe a doctor meeting a patient for almost an hour, used his all expensive machines and still did not charge a penny. Doctors of such compassion and honesty are hard to find. I had first sitting done a week earlier and results looked very exciting. The stone is fragmented. So, I am going for 2nd sitting soon.
So, in short, I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Rajeev to anyone suffering from kidney stone. Your health will be in safest possible hands.
Thanks,
