Dr. Seujee Goswami

I am Dr. Seujee Goswami, a dedicated and compassionate psychiatrist with over a decade of clinical experience across child, adolescent, adult, geriatric, and addiction psychiatry.My journey in medicine began with a strong academic foundation. During my MBBS, I was the recipient of multiple awards, gold medals, and educational scholarships for academic excellence. I then completed my MD in Psychiatry from PGIMER, Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, New Delhi, securing the first rank in the university. Building further on my training, I pursued and completed my super-specialization (DM) in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry from the National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS), Bengaluru—India’s apex institute for mental health.Over the years, I have worked with individuals across the lifespan, managing a wide range of psychiatric conditions including mood and psychotic disorders, anxiety and trauma-related difficulties, neurodevelopmental concerns such as ADHD and autism, substance use disorders, and psychiatric symptoms associated with medical and neurological illnesses. I also have extensive experience supporting children, adolescents, and families with emotional regulation, developmental challenges, behavioral issues, and school-related stress.In addition to my clinical training, I have completed certificate courses and specialized training in several key areas of mental health—such as perinatal psychiatry, child and adolescent mental health, and the management of personality disorders. These have been obtained through reputed institutions including Harvard Medical School, Stanford University, Tavistock and Portman NHS Trust (UK), and NIMHANS.My approach is holistic, developmentally sensitive, and recovery-oriented. I believe in working collaboratively with families, schools, and healthcare teams to provide care that is accessible, respectful, and tailored to individual needs.
