Dr. Karan Raj Jaggi

Dr. Karan Raj Jaggi is a triple board-certified, internationally trained orthopaedic surgeon super-specialising in regenerative orthopaedics, sports injuries and fast-track joint replacements. He currently serves as the Chief Medical Officer and Head, Regenerative Orthopaedics at Osso Orthopaedic Centres, where he leads cutting-edge orthopaedic care with a focus on holistic, patient-centric treatments. Previously he served as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Fortis Hospital, Vasant Kunj, where he performed the first single-stage MACI (Matrix-Induced Autologous Chondrocyte Implantation), a pioneering cartilage repair surgery. Dr. Karan has trained at some of the most prestigious teaching hospitals both in India and internationally, a double gold medallist from DPS RK Puram and Maulana Azad Medical college, he completed his orthopaedic surgical residency from University College of Medical Sciences, Delhi University before going to the United Kingdom for his MCh (super-speciality training) in regenerative orthopaedics. In addition to his surgical career, Dr. Karan has been at the forefront of digital health innovation with a special focus on Clinical Artificial Intelligence & Data Science. He co-founded Guardians Emergency Response, a company focused on building rapid medical emergency solutions, served as the Global Product Head for AktivHealth Digital, leading efforts in building digital physical therapy platforms, in addition to working as an advisor to several national & international digital health startups (TATA-1MG, Antara Elder Care (Max Group). His achievements have been recognized widely, having been featured in Forbes, Inc42, and Business World for his contributions to both medical and digital health sectors.
