Dr C.S Geetha M.B.B.S, DND, DO is an ophthalmologist and one of the directors of Eye well hospital in Chennai. She has 15 years of international experience as an eye surgeon. She was also an Ex Senior-Consultant in Dr Agarwal’s Eye Hospital. She did her M.B.B.S in Coimbatore Medical College, Madras University and Post-graduation Diploma in Ophthalmology from Madras Medical College, The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University. She was groomed as an eye surgeon initially at Regional Institute of Ophthalmology and Government Ophthalmic Hospital which is the second oldest eye hospital next to Moorfields eye hospital in UK and this is associated with prestigious government general hospital and Madras Medical College in Chennai.Her speciality is in cataract, cornea and refractive surgeries. She is a medical retina specialist as well. She has performed a total number of eye surgeries around 17200 out of which cataract phaco IOL surgeries 12210 Lasik and refractive surgeries 1790 and minor surgeries 3200.Achievements Her overseas experience as an eye surgeon gave her an opportunity to operate on expatriate patients from all the six continents. The countries in which she worked are Mauritius, Mozambique, Middle east and Zambia.
