A true Gem.For ever will remain gratitudinal for his exceptional care and helping diagnose a very rare problem . The doctor did not rush to give medicine and gave his very best in trying to identify. He showed immense patience to root cause and was empathetic to my father's situation. I salute his spirit everyday to do the very best. Our story being, We went around everywhere in South India, most hospitals in bengaluru and hyderabad without a clear diagnosis for my dad's headache and a long impending undiagnosed neuro muscular issue. A true doctor in every sense where he cared for my dad with utmost attention. Our family thanks Dr.Uday Shankar, his team and Sakra for helping resolve / showing a path for my dad's rare condition which is extremely impossible in India.

****** ** **** ************* *** found out my problem with a couple of tests .
Doctor listened to my problem for 15mins atleast .Appropriate medicine is given to me along with advice to drink 3 litres water every day .
I had visited Dr Udaya Shankar for a migraine problem. I kind of have a bad feedback for him, for the following reasons:
1. The doctor seemed like he is not interested in knowing the issue
2. Was very laid back and did not put efforts in listening to my problem
3. He asked me if I am ok to do a MRI. Gave a lot thought and decided to put me through MRI. It costed me Rs 10k.
4. What I got the report it was like I was disturbing him. As if I did a mistake.
My MRI results did not show any issues and post that Dr Udaya Shankar was not able to tell my problem. I was puzzled first of all he made me do a Rs10k+ MRI. I was expecting something for this test. I asked why was the MRI said in the first place. He said it was just to check if I had some problem in the past. That was my last consultation.
I read the following in some other patients feedback on Practo:
“[The doctor] had a body language 'why the hell are you bothering me'”
I totally support the above feedback(I am so happy to see a patient(on Practo) with the exact same sentiment as me with Dr Udaya Shankar. This really validates my experience/feedback).
My problem was not solved. I wasted Rs 10k+ in Fortis Hospital and wasted my time. I was totally disappointed.
PS: I personally find Practo to be a perfect portal to get accurate doctor feedback.
