Dr. Sumit Anand

Consulted Dr. Sumit Anand (MBBS, MS) for lower back pain recently. He examined the movements carefully, understood the issue well, and prescribed medicines accordingly. I also appreciated how he highlighted the importance of posture and sitting habits while working, instead of just focusing on medicines — that attention to the root cause genuinely felt helpful and reassuring.

I recommend Dr. Sumit Anand. He was friendly and clear during the visit.

I was having severe knee pain and was unable to perform daily chores like climbing the stairs. I saw many doctors in India as well as Switzerland since I work in Switzerland. I ended up taking multiple painkillers everyday. I heard about Dr. Sumit from a common friend and met him. He suggested me to go for knee replacement. Like any other common man. I was very scared of surgery but he explained me the entire procedure assured me everything would be fine. I underwent the surgery 1.5 years back and I have been doing really well. I have been on Euro trips after the surgery and have gone hiking as well. I strongly recommend Dr. Sumit to anyone suffering from prolonged knee pain.

I had a disappointing experience with this doctor at Apollo Sector 82, Gurugram. His approach was ************** *** unsupportive. Despite examining the patient, he couldn’t identify the cause of the pain, leading to multiple tests (blood tests, X-rays) and a lengthy list of medications, which felt excessive. Even after reviewing the test results, ** *** ***** ****** ** ******** *** ****** ******* *** ******* ** **** *** patient was in pain for past two days. Additionally, the phone number provided for sharing reports was incorrect, and after waiting four hours, I was given a new one. When I finally received feedback from the doctor, his assessment was unclear – with only a suggestion to revisit the OPD.
