Dr. Deepak Krishnamurthy

Dr. Deepak, is my Dad’s best Physician and cardiologist since June 2011. He is my father’s life saver too on many occasions.

My dad is a Senior citizen, aged about 80 + years and had by-pass surgery in Dec 2011 in FORTIS, Bangalore under his guidance.

Before 2011, I met different doctors at different hospitals to diagnose the problem. None gave a correct diagnosis and confidence. I was in such a dilemma, that looking at the success rate of bypass surgery for old age patients whether to go ahead or not. He looked at the problems, symptoms and did conduct couple of tests and gave me a correct diagnosis for which, I am convinced. The Conclusion was major 4 bypasses has to be conducted since 95 % blockage on 3 major arteries. Infact, he didn’t pressurize me to get operated immediately but he gave sufficient time to plan and comeback. He advised us the timely plan when we should get operated with basic treatment. He is so perfect that, in the same time plan (within predicted time line) he got admitted on emergency and later on he got bypass operated.

He gave me a confident advice and support to go ahead with by-pass. Since then, he is my doctor. He got operated and within no time, he recovered very well and doing good except for old age related stuffs.

Since last one year, my dad has multiple admits for different problems like Digestive issues, Parkinson and Urology related in Sakra world hospital. Every time, when there is a problem in my Dads health, He is first person comes to mind to contact him urgently and get an advice. I and my family loves my dad too much and thankful to him for the timely treatments.

I stay 100 kms. Away from Bangalore and sometimes, I do contact him on phone for my Dads health advice on medicines in emergencies. He is very supportive and generous to advise me on phone and suggesting me on what to be done as a next stage.

He is very good human being and he takes care of elderly patients very well. His personal care and skill is making elderly people to recover very fast. Since 2011, I feel that my Dad is in the safe hands and will be perfectly alright in a day or two and he is.

Dr. Deepak’s willingness to explain me every details from my doubts on my dad’s treatment gave me a strong courage and comfortless.

He is always provided best care, best advice, timely attention and treatment during my Dad’s health review and admission during every visit and issues.

His skill, practical knowledge, positive attitude, honesty, personal attention and professionalism has played a major role for my Dad’s health recovery.

Dr. Deepak Krishnamurthy has been treating my mother since 2014. It was purely accidental that we ended up with this doctor but what a blessing it turned out to be! When many senior doctors gave up on my mother, it was Dr. Deepak Krishnamurthy who completely took charge and practically got mom to live a normal life again. One of the best Cardiologists I have come across! In fact, one of the nicest human being I have met lately. If not for him, I don’t know how I would have dealt with Mom’s health crisis. Even now, I shudder when I remember how helpless I had felt with Mom at one point of time. Things have completely changed for Mom since then. I can only say God was with us when Dr. Deepak Krishnamurthy came into our lives! We owe him a lot!

Dr. Deepak Krishnamurthy is a typical new age doctor with a very different approach which is what we need in this day and age; someone who attends and supports you on calls and emails even after you are done with the hospitalization. He has an extremely sharp memory and remembers details unlike many doctors who we need to brief on what the original health issue was every time you meet them. What sets him apart is the personal touch that seems to be missing in the medical profession these days. He may not come across as the overly friendly kind, but he is very engaged and connected with his patients and their health situation. He practices what he propagates and he is available to his patients at all time. He gives you just the right amount of information you need and tells you what is needed and what is possible. He is not one who would unnecessarily scare you. But you know for sure you are in good capable hands.

Also, he does seem to have this innate capability to help and improve people’s lives. If there is anyone who can turn around a situation to a patient’s advantage within a short time, that would be him! And it is not just me, I have read reviews about him from other patients who feel the same way. He definitely has the magic touch! Doctors like him are rare to come by and we pray that God continues to bestow him with greater talent and gift to save people’s lives and improve the quality of their lives!

Worst experience with any Doctor. Avoid him and visit any other Doctor. No professionalism or courtesy.

I got master health checkup done for my father aged 65. After looking at the reports general physician said she was unable to interpret ECG report and said we can consult cardiologist and show ECG report.

Dr Deepak Krishnamurthy was available Cardiologist and I paid his consultation fees to meet him. He was in a bad mood or may be that is his normal behavior to be rude with patients. He did not paid much attention to the report, looked at ECG and directly said get ECHO test done.

I went back and inquired about Echo test, and the price was INR 2500. As it was a costly test I asked Doctor if the test was actually important and If ECG was showing some abnormality for which this test was required. Without any explanation Dr Deepak said, go get the test done it will take 5 min time.

As per his advise, We went ahead paid 2500 and got the test done. Within 10 minutes we were back in his cabin and to our big big surprise Dr Deepak was not there, he had left for the day. ** ******* **** **** **** ** ********** *********** *** ** **** ** ***** ****** **** ***** *** ************** *** ********* ****** *** He did not valued our money nor time. I also inquired if some emergency came for which he may have left, and there was none. He simply took us for granted.

His assistant looked at the report and confirmed in simple words All Normal.

I have read about previous comments about the ******** ** doctor but I still went just based on the knowledge and certificate/degree. I thought this might have happened once in a whilePlease trust me this doctor is not acceptable at all. ** ***** **** *** ** **** ** ********If you ask something , he will lose his pateince. This happened to me on both the days of consultation. He didn't explained anything related to reports. Moreover, next step should also be explained. Just 3 mins and consultation is over.Very bad experience with this doctor. Time and money both were at stack. Please think 100 times before consulting to this doctorPlease note - below is just one small instance and others are there too-I asked should I check for Chest specialist or physician, he lost his pateince.

Both my parents are under Dr.Deepak Krishnamurthy's care since the last two years. Their complicated health condition (HTN, AF, PAH, etc) which several other doctors couldn't resolve he resolved with utmost dedication, great expertise, warmth care and constant feedback. We visit him frequently (for regular checks) and at times he even suggests to teleconsult to avoid us the inconvenience of traveling.

He combines medical care with scientific temperament and gradually reduced the number of medications which other doctors had prescribed, to almost half and my parents are doing well under his treatment.

Many nouveau riche patients are impatient (have seen their behavior personally) and treat the medical fraternity as though they are at their beck and call and do not understand medical treatment in the modern age which comprises a doctor's expert analysis of test reports and his subsequent guidance, they expect lengthy/protracted consultation with the doctor. Dr.Deepak does not spend more time than necessary, he is thorough in his analysis and very thoughtful in his treatment of a complicated sitaution. He considers all the pros and cons of the patient's treatment and gives perfect guidance. Not only have my parents' health improved over a period of two years with his medical supervision, intervention and medication he has also performed stenting to one of them. He also took a call for a non invasive procedure on my parent's spinal fracture which was under another department.

Extremely happy with him and we are lucky to have such a highly experienced, dedicated, talented, skilled and caring doctor in Bangalore.

We chanced upon Dr. Deepak when I rushed my mother to Sakra in an ambulance at 5am in the morning in September 2015 as she could barely breathe. It was there in the CCU that I met Dr. Deepak while he was doing his rounds. I was worried and scared as anyone would be at a time like that and was expecting the worst. After all the prescribed diagnostic tests were done, I went to meet Dr. Deepak in his office. I was anxious, nervous and emotional to say the least, and after spending ten minutes with Dr. Deepak I walked out of his office feeling confident, hopeful and grateful. He put me at ease, explained the medical condition patiently and assured me my mother was going to be okay. As a layman I understood exactly what was wrong and the course of treatment that was being administered. His empathy and ability to connect with people is amazing. He is a doctor par excellence . He has overseen my mother ever since and we are truly happy and grateful to have him as her doctor. He is approachable and friendly. Dr. Deepak Krishnamurthy's confidence and patience win you over reassuringly at the very start. I have found Dr. Deepak to be a very competent doctor. He listens to you patiently and explains the whole process in great detail.

He has saved me from a possible stroke due to two blockages - 70 % and 90 % which were discovered after a regular check up at the age of 50.

I feel much younger and more active after the placement of the two stents by him.

The two blockages were a shocking revelation for me on the OT at Sakra, during an Angiogram done by Dr. Deepak in May 2015. He conducted it very efficiently and explained the discovery very patiently to me and my family.

He only suggested a second opinion to my elder son who had accompanied me to the hospital. While my son and I were undecided, he and his team waited patiently for quite long for my wife and friends to arrive and take the call. Once the decision was made to go ahead with installation of the stents then he performed the operation in a very confident and highly competent and efficient manner.

First, I owe an apology to Dr. Deepak. About eight months back after a routine health check when he noticed my Cholesterol was out of control, he recommended that I start taking medication. I reacted to the recommendation negatively and left his office. I also gave some negative feedback on this platform about Dr. Deepak. Life comes full circle. Eight months later I was rushed to his Angio table with two blocks - one almost 100% and the other about 80%.

It was an amazing experience being under his treatment. I did not even feel the procedure being done even though I was full awake during the procedure. It was comforting to watch the quiet confidence with which he worked. The procedures went of well and more importantly his approach, and the reassurance with which he spoke gave my family lots of comfort.

I just finished my post procedure check up. Naturally, I had a lot of questions. He answered all of them. I also apologized to him for my earlier behavior 8 months ago. Credit to him he was very gracious in his acceptance of my apology.

I was rushed to Sakra World hospital on 18th Jan,2018 morning 7:30AM with severe right side chest pain. The duty doctors in emergency did ECG & Echo and said the pain was not related to heart and gave me few pain killers. After 45 mints Dr. Deepak visited me in emergency, my pain was not reduced. He said there were some insignificant changes in the ECG and said it might be Cardio related issue. I was immediately prepared for Angiogram and during Angiogram Dr. Deepak identified there were two blocks in my artery and suggested for immediate Angioplasty for one of the blocks and fixed it immediately. All done in 2 hours time. Another block was analyzed by Dr. Deepak after 24 hours and it was also fixed.

In my case, *** ****** *** ***** ********, correct decision, timely execution, perfect finishing – all with personal care and without any pain. When I understand the seriousness of the problem after Angiogram, he explained me the issue, gave me confidence that the issue can be resolved and made me feel very comfortable during the procedure and also after that.

Thanks to Dr. Deepak and his team, who fixed the problem on time and extended my life.

I consulted Dr.Deepak through reference of orthopaedic Dr.Girish in rxdx with the chest pain & breathlessness along with left arm shooting pain.initially all other doctors thought it was a muscular pain and I was running around with this pain for 6 days with multiple ECG,tmt, Eco done & all other doctors ruled out heart problem.

Dr.deepak insisted on a fresh ECG******** ** *** *** **** *** he immediately asked me to go to Sakra hospital for a angiogram,since I was waiting for transportation he offered to take me in his own car for not to waste precious time.

It was around 8.30p.m.on 25 th Feb 2017we left & reached Sakra by 9 p.m.

I was taken into emergency -immediate preperation 9.50 I was monitored local anasthesia and he showed me the block in my right coronary artery & left no time wasted and fixed my heart with the stent by 10.20 p.M.

.while on the table itself I was relieved of my pain,etc within seconds

The way he handled my case was amazing- he never allowed me to panic,with his coolness prepared me into this procedure without any pain.

We always panic on heart failure issues but it was for me like a very small procedure.

Hats off to Dr.Deepak for providing me a 2 nd lease of life and I am enjoying my rebirth.

For those 7 days 20 th to 27 th Feb 2017 I was all confused and suffered a lot with pain.

But It just took 2 hours for Dr.Deepak to fix my heart.

I am really great full to Dr.Deepak for he is a man with a large heart,cool attitude in handling panic situation of mine & giving courage and preparing into a smooth sailing & providing me the rebirth.

I liked what he said the 7 th day post op- that many people with 100 % block don't even reach hospital on time.

Yes Sakra is one of the best hospital with best care on operating on time - 9 p.m.to 10.30 p.m.best sup port staff in OT,ccu,ward & upto discharge.
