Gold Medalist in the final year MBBS exams of Govt Medical College, Mysore. Passed the DNB (General Medicine) at the first attempt. Awarded the prestigious Commonwealth Scholarship- ODASSS to train in Nephrology at the Hammersmith Hospital, Royal Postgraduate Medical School in London. Passed the D.Nephro examination of the University of London with a mark of Distinction. Further training in Nephrology, with an NKF Renal Fellowship at the Singapore General Hospital in Singapore. Currently working as a Senior Consultant Nephrologist and Head of Dept, Nephrology, and Renal Transplantation, in major hospitals in South Bangalore. Was the Convenor/ President of the Nephrology Association of Karnataka between the years 2009-2011.
