Avadhut Netralaya is well known hospital in nagpur, situated in heart of the city. This hospital is promoted by dr Rishikesh Mayee.The hospital was inugrated by Hon’ble Dr.(Padma shree) Mahipal Sachdev, Chairman, Centre for Sight Group of Hospitals, New Dehi. Avadhut Netralaya Provides complete eye care solutions which includes Computerised checking for spectacles and contact lenses, Comprehensive eye testing, Ophthalmic ultrasonography, Stitchless cataract surgery, Squint treatment, Pediatric eye treatment, Glaucoma treatment etc. The Directors of Avdhut Netralaya Dr.Rishikesh Mayee have very good experience of eye care treatment. He completed his MBBS from Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Medical College (LTMMC), Sion, Mumbai in Jan 2001. He did his postgraduation (DNB) in Ophthalmology from Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai, a renowned institute in the field of Ophthalmology. He passed DNB exam in Nov 2oo5 and Fellowship exam of the Royal College of Surgeons of Glasgow (FRCS) in Sept 2oo8. He did the ‘Sir Ratan Tata Fellowship’ in phakoemulsification followed by Fellowship in Pediatric Ophthalmology and Squint from Sankara Nethralaya Chennai. He has also been trained for ‘lasers in diabetic retinopathy’ at the prestigious Aravind Eye Hospital, Coimbatore. He has worked as a consultant in Pediatric Ophthalmology and anterior segment at ICARE eye hospital and Post-graduate institute NOIDA where he was a teaching faculty for post-graduate students and trainer in phakoemulsification. He later joined Centre For Sight, a renowned multispeciality eye hospital in New Delhi.
