Bhagwan Mahaveer Cancer Hospital & Research Centre (BMCHRC) is a 300-bed cancer hospital on Jawahar Lal Nehru Marg, Bajaj Nagar, Jaipur 302017, near Saras Dairy. It was established in 1997, opening then with 50 beds, and is NABH accredited.Its departments cover surgical, medical, radiation, haematologic, paediatric, gynaecologic, orthopaedic, head and neck and neuro-oncology, alongside anaesthesiology and pain management, critical care, geriatric oncology, plastic and reconstructive surgery, internal medicine, gynaecology and obstetrics, gastroenterology and preventive health care. Diagnostic and support services include nuclear medicine, radiology and interventional radiology, pathology and laboratory medicine, and the hospital runs its own blood bank and transfusion service. Up to 25 percent of BPL-category patients are treated free of charge, with subsidised treatment for economically weaker sections. Cashless treatment is available under the Rajasthan Government Health Scheme, Mukhyamantri Ayushman Arogya Yojana, CGHS, ECHS, Railway and ESI schemes and through major TPAs and insurers.
