Dr Sonali is someone with great compassion and understanding. When I visited her for the first time, I was at a very low point in my life. OCD took over my life, my life had changed completely. Due to the lack of awareness about this illness, I used to feel completely alone. But when I first visited Ms Sonali, within few minutes into our session I opened up to her about the issues I am facing, about my intrusive thoughts, and I never thought someone would understand what I am going through but she instantly did. These thoughts are unacceptable and taboo in the society that’s why we often feel that we could never get help, but that’s not true. I encourage anyone suffering from OCD or any other mental illness to consult Ms Sonali because my life has turned around ever since we have had sessions, we have practiced different techniques to battle this illness, and as each session proceeds I can feel that I am slowly beating OCD. I have been seeing Dr Anisha regularly for a few months now. She is very patient and devotes a lot of time to understand the issue and its background. Dr Anisha went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and confident about sharing. Dr Anisha also uses a lot of positive reinforcement to help us achieve our goals without feeling the pressure, which I found most helpful. At the same time, I got some really constructive feedback which was easy to implement - I was asked by Dr Anisha to make small changes which were incremental and added up to a big positive shift over a long period. Even when I took backward steps and fell back, she was always there to lift me up and move forward. I owe it to Dr Anisha for guiding me out of a dark phase in my life, and I feel confident and energised after every session. I can see and feel real progress in myself and even after moving on from the reason I started therapy, I chose to continue taking Dr Anisha’s help for personal growth which I’m able to see in myself very clearly.

Dr Sonali was the much needed help I was looking for all these years. After 5 years in psychotherapy and taking medications for OCD, though my OCD itself was definitely resolved, there were many underlying issues which were left completely unaddressed. Though I was far from recovery, stressed and sceptical about the treatment I couldn’t help but feel a sense of hope, however minuscule it was. From the get go the doctor seemed to have a deep understanding of general issues and my specific problems. During subsequent visits she always infused me with hope and encouraged me even though I could barely comprehend my own strengths and abilities. She was tirelessly pushing for my recovery. I urge anyone seeking her help to trust her and sincerely work with her and she will see you through. And yes definitely keep working on the tools she provides until you embody them. Amit sir is a very dedicated professional, a very sincere guy about his profession as well as a person who understand his responsibilities very well as a psychologist. I had been in his treatment for bipolar disorder for more than two months constantly and am much relieved now specially in terms of anxiety, anger and self doubt by his method of counselling.

I found him being updated with recent methods also as the subject of psychology is evolving over time.

A good and patience listener I must say he was.
