Veekay Clinic, DLF Phase II

I visited this clinic on the basis of Practo rating ***** *** ******* *** ** ****** *** **** *******My experience has been bad with this one and detailed explanation here would be either be censored or trimmed, so summing up in points:**** ** *** **** * ****** ********* ** ********** ******** **** ****** ** ** ** ********* ***** ******* ** **** ** ** ******* they’ll wait for the advance payment if you have a test/scanning etc *** ******** *** ** *** ***** *** *** ******* ******* *** * ***** ****** ** ******** * *** ******* **** ******** ***** *********3) The equipment would be hyped for being advanced and imported before screening and charges would be higher therefore. (Realisation would arrive later)

4) Doc is really impatient if you ask queries, *** *** *********** **** **** ******* ** ****** **** ***** ** *** ** **** ******

5) The receptionist cum assistant is an allrounder lady who’d handle the whole clinic and to my surprise will also explain your report to you **** *** *** **** ********* ** **** ********

6) The equipments being used weren’t sterilised properly that I realised when I saw ear wax on the nozzle of audiological machine (ear ultrasound device), and the ear torch BEFORE it was used for me, and it was confirmed once he kept it back the way it was. So things are being REUSED.

Recommended - Always go for a second opinion before undergoing any scanning or test immediately as advised. ***** ** ** ***** ** ****** ************ ** **** **** ***** ******* take time to evaluate and discuss with others for better alternatives or probably same services on lower charges.

This all is my personal experience and you’re more than welcome to ignore and have a first hand experience which I’d hope gets better after this feedback.

Also I’d like practo to be more real and transparent with the feedbacks it gets really annoying when you’re not expecting a 5 star doctor to behave like this.

Mr Verinder K Gupta has attended to me in 2019 for ear wax removal using soliwax drops for continuous 5 days on both ears which was then removed by suction doctor verinder k gupta has performed the same procedure in 2020 as well and has said ear wax removal needs to be done every year using same procedure dr verinder k gupta has also attended to my 3 year daughter's ear pain by removal of wax using same procedure and suggested same treatment for her every year also saying both me and my 3 year old daughter must not allow water to enter our ears during a bath which is the cause for constant ear irritation dr verinder k gupta initially said my daughter must have inserted something into her ears then on thorough checking said it was white fungus which is quite prevalent dr verinder also recommends constant dosage of vitamin d supplements as no food can make up for the lack of vitamin d

Having read good reviews on Practo I visited the doc for My Vertigo issues. Initially I liked his friendly and a warm nature ; however when it came to my treatment the doctor was everywhere on his diagnosis .

1. He said the vertigo was not because of cervical spondylitis but due to ear blockage; **** ***** *** ****** ***** **** ** ******* **** ****** ** * ****** * ******* **** *** ****** ** ******* ** ****** * ******* *** **** ***** * **** * I was asked to go for blood test to check my vitamins level ; I went with my report on the 4th day and he charged me 700 again ; after my questioning he gave me a discount of 100 rs which I felt was a total disregard of my concern. I also didn’t receive any invoice for any my bills as well.

3. I got ripped off 1500 for a ****** ear scan ***** ***** *** ***** **** ****** ***

** *** ******* *** *********** *** * ***** *** **** ***** *** ******* * the headphone used had worn off completely

I want my doctor to treat me well, in time and with reasonable charge. His over friendly nature is a bit repulsive ; I don’t want be friends with my Doc but expect a more professional relationship.

Doctor Gupta is an ********* ************* *** experienced doctor. He attended to me very patiently and resolved the ear issue which I was facing for more than 2 weeks.

He went one step further to identify the core issue which caused the problem and provided the required course of action.

I will always be thankful to Doctor Gupta for attending to me during the difficult lock-down time.

Upon calling the doctor, the solution for diarrhoea, he said that this happens and nothing can be done ******* * ****** **** **** ***** *** ******* ******* ******* **** *** ** ***** ** *** ******* ** **** **********

On asking him some medicines for the remedy he wanted us to go and visit him again within the same day and pay hom again. ** ** **** ***** ********

I will never ever recommend going to him.

Dr. Verinder is one of the sweetest doctors i have met. He listens to your problems and suggests the best solution for you. Treated a throat problem for which other doctors has recommended a surgery only through medicines. Highly recommended.

Experienced and very polite . He listen to the patient and advise like a mentor . He clearly suggested me a work life balance and told me not to take medicines but do excercise .
