Hoped for better: Wait time
Took appointment for my toddler's regular dental check-up. I specifically took appointment for the reason that waiting longer periods with younger children can be taxing on them and also a safety concern in these times... My appointment was also confirmed by the assistant in the morning. But despite all that, I had to wait close to 1.5 hours for my 1pm appointment. And then I finally left the clinic at 2.35pm without the procedure as our turn hadn't come even after waiting 95 minutes! Horrible time management

I’m sorry to hear about your bad experience. We want every patient to have an exceptional experience at our clinic Dental Makeover and we take complaints very seriously. I understand that inspite of having an appointment, you had to wait for sometime for which we regret that we missed the mark. We are normally known for our exceptional appointment keeping schedule and not making anyone wait longer. Any medical/dental treatment is not an exact science and cannot be performed in exact given time. Since, I was doing an emergency case and some complications arose due to which the procedure of 30 mins took 1 hour which happens sometimes as we cannot compromise with the quality of the work and treatment so I couldn't leave any treatment procedure in between. Also ma'am, post covid things are changed, we are following all the protocols given by all the national and international healthcare agencies like WHO, IDA etc for every patient which includes pulse oximeter evaluation, temperature evaluation, filling of the COVID declaration form and consent form, sanitisation of every patient, PPE kits for the patients which includes disposable head cap, gloves, foot-cover, mouth mask and patient's gowns etc without any charges to the patient, which was provided to you as well. And after every treatment procedure we sanitise our operatory using various chemicals and UVC lights which make every appointment a little longer than normal times and with certain emergencies or/and complications sometimes things gets out of our hand causing delay. Our receptionist had already informed you about the delay and after finishing the emergency case when I came out to call you, I got to know you had already left few mins back. I hope you understand the issue. Still I want to apologise for making you wait and would like to invite you for the consultation anytime you want in future. Thank you for understanding.
