Dr Rahul Padmanabhan is a consultant in Geriatrics and Gerontology with a decade of rich experience in elder care. He has been instrumental in developing community and home-based health care models in Coimbatore, India providing quality health care to elders who are unable to access institution-based care. Through his multi-disciplinary team, he provides comprehensive solutions to the health care needs of the elderly, taking into account all aspects of geriatric care. He completed his medical graduation from Calicut Medical College and did Master's in Applied Gerontology and Wellness Management from Ball State University, USA. He has special interest in dementia care, palliative care and chronic disease management. He is now the medical director of Dr Rahul's Elder Care, a community and home focused geriatric healthcare company, based in Coimbatore. Dr Rahul's Elder care also provides consultancy service to senior retirement homes, Dementia Rehab centers and home based medical companies.
