Short version: She is great! She knows what she is doing and does it very well! She has all the attributes, training, qualification, experience, restraint and maturity, it takes to be a great therapist.

Long version: I have been consulting Dr. Geetika for more than 6 months now. I spent a lot of time researching, reading so many reviews of so many doctors/therapists and finally settled with Dr. Geetika.

Dr. Geetika is great at facilitating an open conversation and slowing allowing me to see new perspectives. I never wanted to go to therapist who gave me advice/solutions. I needed help to understanding myself a little better. I needed someone who helped me see things about myself, that I was blinded to/unware of. Dr. Geetika did exactly that!

In fact, she did more than that in these sessions. I got solace. I got generosity of interpretation in looking at my needs, thoughts and actions. She somehow showed me how to be kind with myself. When we go our elders/friends, with our problems, they have this habit of saying "sab teek ho jayega/elan seriya aidum/Everything will be alright". Dr. Geetika never said it once, in so many words. But a lot of times, I felt like things will be alright, after I attended one of my sessions with Dr. Geetika.

She is not the least bit judgmental. She takes anything I tell her with an open mind. She is very ethical, considerate and professional. She has a great grasp of the science behind what she does. She methodically made me understand (through her explanation, reference material - videos, websites, book suggestions etc.) some important concepts, definitions of emotions, techniques, to understand and address whatever it was, that I was going through (my notes from our many sessions are a great reference point for me anytime I’m stuck). She is thorough, trained and very skilled at what she does. My sessions with her have been immensly helpful!

I had issues with repressed memories and daily lows. I was in a cycle of continuous lows quite often and decided to seek help. Having sessions with Dr. Geetika Goyal have been eye opening for me. While I was aware of repressed childhood trauma, the toxic and unhealthy cycles which I kept enacting in my mind and my daily life were what I was unaware of. It affected me so badly that my physical health also gave me issues. Physical pains were a constant and I would also have trouble sleeping due to the restlessness and hypervigilance. It felt as if my life was collapsing around me. Dr. Goyal made me aware of the repetitive cycles and other issues such as guilt and humiliation I felt, which clearly were not my fault. In the sessions that followed, she suggested me a book to help me called "The Art of Selfishness". It totally changed my perspective of life and lifted me from the continuous unhealthy cycles of fear, sadness, overthinking and flashes of trauma.I highly recommend for people to take sessions from Dr. Goyal if you have issues regarding mental health. She is very understanding and is calm. You will be able to unlearn and learn so many things which we miss out in life. Give yourself a chance to heal.Please do seek help when it is necessary. Speak up against the injustice against you lives. Too many people bury trauma deep under due to fear of humiliation. It is never your fault. We are human beings and are not perfect. We all deserve to live our lives in the best way possible. Do not suffer alone with disturbing issues that you bury deep in your subconscious. I hope this review helps someone in need!

I have been consulting Dr Geetika since 2 months. 1st the discussion started with problems then diagnosed the actual problem and the root cause. Everyone's behaviors are centered around certain dominating emotions that they build it during childhood and with the believe systems one grows up. The person who devalues me or the person de prioritize the needs or suppresses the emotions or person who hurts me is myself. That was very much eye opening. We might discuss our problems with many thinking that we feel light hearted. when we discuss they tell thier similar situations or rather than finding the way out we moutain the problem. If anyone is going through tough times please consult psychiatrist and take couselling. There are non medicated procedures and feild has evolved a lot. It would take time for counseling but it's all worth when you are sitting with doctor who listens to you without interrupting and guide without judging. Doctor's guidance will help to Self parent and unlearning believe and tackle the emotions. Your emotion are most important till we die take care of it like gold.

Reaching out to Dr.Geetika has been one of the best decisions i have made. There is still a lot of reluctance for many people to reach out to psychologists and therapists for counseling - most of us fail to see the benefits of reaching out to mental health professionals and choose to keep enduring mental agony. We all deserve to live wholesome lives and reaching out to professionals for our mental health issues is something we should do for ourselves. I am so glad I made this choice.

Counseling helped me move past several years of mental trauma and guilt that made me sacrifice so much of my happiness eventually leading to a lot of anxiety and unhappiness - the clarity of thought brought about by Dr.Geetika, the years of conditioning that was so the cause of anxiety peeling off was like a huge burden of my shoulder. The lightness of mind that has come post her sessions has improved the quality of my life so much. While the problems I was dealing with may never go away, new way of looking at them and handling them are like tools handed that has made life so much better.

Dr.Geetika recommendation of books to read on the issues I was struggling with were of immense help in understanding what I was dealing with. I would have never understood what I was going through if it were not for her knowledge and her recommendation of literature to read up.

We need to give the same importance to our mental health as we do to our physical health and not hesitate to reach out to professionals for help. Its the best thing one can do for themselves and others around them.
