Dr. R.N. Premkumar provided a very good consultation.

I visited Dr. R.N. Premkumar for a severe muscle spasm and was unable to walk, stand, or sit properly. He not only helped with my main issue but also identified an underlying problem from the MRI he suggested. I am seeing improvement from his treatment.

1) The diagnosis was Accurate but the Doctor follows unethical practices.

2)He himself gave me medicines and included it in the bill. I feel this is wrong as he does not have any knowledge of the cash we have in hand or we could get the same medicines at a pharmacy at a good discount of 15%.

3)He sold me a sample copy of a pain reliever ointment(given by the medicine company) which was not meant to be sold.

4) He does not prescribe the best medicines. He only prescribes the medicines that he has in stock at his clinic. He prescribed me a tablet which he had with him. And later his compounder brought a new stock of medicines, he simply swapped that tablet with the new medicine that had arrived and said that this was more effective. My question is why was this not prescribed in the first place. This is bad from a doctor as he tried to sell me a sub- standard medicine because he only had that in stock instead of giving me the best medicine for my problem

4) He does not provide a break up of the bill. I calculated the price myself and I ended up paying about Rs.50 more (even after including the sample copy ointment )

Much better now... Treatment is very satisfaction . Doctor is an experienced ortho surgeon . Doctor clearly explain the situation and medicine also
