Dr. Lata Gupta (Senior Consultant) did her M.B.B.S. From Lady Harding Medical College Delhi, DGO from Maulana Azad Medical College Delhi and DNB in Obstt and Gynaecology. She worked at Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Hospital, Hari Nagar for 23 years in the deptt. of Obstt and Gynecology doing all major, minor, Laparoscopic and emergency Surgeries independently. She was actively invoved in training and teaching Medical officers, Nurses, LHVs and ANMs in DDU Hospital. She conducted workshops on Colposcopy and Ultrasound under the aegis of AOGD and currently conducts regular Gynae CMEs involving all the leading Gynaecologists of West Delhi..She has been working with Indian Medical Association's state unit and Janakpuri branch in various capacities for academic updating, community projects, entertainment and social gatherings of medical fraternity. She is actively involved in updating knowledge of fellow members of medical fraternity in this fast changing medical field by holding updates, group discussions and seminars, at IMA platform.As a contributor to the World Lung Foundation, she is working towards improving the living standards of general masses by early diagnosis, and treatment of Lung Diseases. She was invited to Myanmar in 2009 to deliver a seminar on Female Genital Tuberculosis as a faculty member.She has been actively involved as executive member in the Gynae forum(Chairperson of 17th Gynae Update in Heavy Menstrual bleeding, Cholestasis in pregnancy and infertility - revolutionizing treatment, Panelist in Post Partem Collapse workshop, Panelist in Induction of Labour workshop)Along with various publications and case presentations in conferences of national and international repute, she has been associated with NGOs like PSI and Sanwari for family welfare and counselling.
