With over 35,000 surgeries under his belt in the fields of Minimal Access, Bariatric, Metabolic Surgery, and Robotic GI Surgery, Dr. Randeep Wadhawan brings a wealth of experience to his practice. He has trained more than 500 surgeons in GI, Bariatric, and Robotic Surgery, emphasising his commitment to advancing surgical techniques and knowledge sharing. Holding key leadership positions, he serves as the President of the Obesity and Metabolic Surgery Society of India (OSSI), as well as an Executive Committee Member of both the Indian Association of Gastrointestinal Endo Surgeons (IAGES) and the Hernia Society of India (HSI). He is also an executive committee member of ARIS (Advanced Robotic & Innovative Surgery). Contributing to medical education, he serves as faculty for the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences in India and acts as a proctor and national faculty for training surgeons in Robotic (Da Vinci) GI Surgeries. Furthermore, he plays an active role in academic publishing, serving as an Editorial Board Member for the Journal of Minimal Access Surgery (JMAS) and an Associate Editor for the Journal of Bariatric Surgery (JBS).
