Dr. Sujata Gawai

Dr Sujata Gawai accomplished her post-graduation in ENT from Mahatma Gandhi Mission Medical College & Hospital at Kamothe, Navi Mumbai in December 2011. To her credit she has cleared National board of examination (DNB) in her speciality in first attempt. She has completed fellowship in Endoscopic Sinus and Skull Base Surgeries at Bombay hospital under able guidance of Dr Nishit J. Shah. During this period she not only performed/assisted multiple endoscopic sinus surgeries, endoscopic pituitary surgeries, CSF leak repair surgeries, etc. but also developed expertise in other aspects of patient care, preoperative and postoperative management. With an aim to help children and adults with deafness, Dr Sujata has focussed on learning about Cochlear Implants, the treatment which helps a deaf child or deaf adult to hear and hence speak;under ‘Padmashree’ Dr Milind V. Kirtane at P. D. Hinduja hospital. Dr Sujata has assisted numerous Cochlear Implant surgeries and other ear and sinuses surgeries. During her fellowship training she had an opportunity to work at Bombay hospital, Breach Candy Hospital, P. D. Hinduja hospital, Cumballa hill hospital and Saifee hospital. Dr Sujata has served as Asst Professor at MGM medical college and hospital, Kamothe for 2 years. Currently Dr Sujata Gawai is owner, ENT consultant and surgeon at Auricle ENT clinic at kharghar.
