Dr. Sameer Gore

Dr. Sameer Gore says "My speciality is that I give adequate time to my patients so that they can convey all their problems to me. I have worked in United Kingdom as Senior House Officer, Registrar, Senior Clinical Medical Officer, Associate Specialist, Specialist Registrar and also as a consultant in Colchester".Dr. Sameer Gore passed his M.B.B.S in 1992.He was always interested in psychiatry and was awarded a prize in psychiatry in undergraduate days. During intern ship he did his elective posting in psychiatry. He passed his M.D(Psychiatry) in 1996 and won Dr.A.P. Patkar's Prize. He also passed the D.P.M(Psychiatry) and D.N.B examination. He presented his thesis titled-"Emotional Attitudes Of Spouses Of Schizophrenic Patients" in the Royal College of Psychiatrists meet in Hyderabad in 1996. He passed his M.D(Psychiatry) in 1996 and won Dr.A.P. Patkar's Prize. He also passed the D.P.M(Psychiatry) and D.N.B examination. He presented his thesis titled-"Emotional Attitudes Of Spouses Of Schizophrenic Patients" in the Royal College of Psychiatrists meet in Hyderabad in 1996. He presented his thesis titled -"Emotional Attitudes of spouses of Schizophrenic patients in the Birmingham Medical Institute and won the prestigious 'Cloak Medal' in 1998. He passed his MRCPsych examination in 2004 and at present is subscribing member of the college. Thereafter he was selected for higher training in Intellectual Disability in the West-midlands higher specialty training scheme in 2005. He presented his research paper "Trends in admission to an intellectual disability hospital", In the faculty of learning disability meet organized by Royal College of Psychiatric in 2008. His special interest are Community Psychiatry, Transcultural Psychiatry and Psychiatry of Intellectual Disability.
