Dr. Prakash Nayak

Dr. Prakash Nayak is an ophthalmologist (eye specialist) in Vashi, Navi Mumbai, and performs cataract surgery by phacoemulsification (25,000+ procedures so far). He has extensive experience with the Infiniti Vision System and Legacy by Alcon, USA, and in the management of all varieties of complicated cataracts, including brown cataracts, cataracts with a small pupil, mature cataracts, posterior polar cataracts, subluxated cataracts and paediatric cataracts.He also performs LASIK and refractive surgery (5,000+ procedures so far), phakic ICL implantation, and corneal grafting, both lamellar and full thickness. He has been instrumental in teaching and training more than 100 fellow eye surgeons and colleagues over the past 10 years and has delivered many scientific talks at national conferences.He practises at Navi Mumbai Eye Clinic & Laser Centre, Vashi.
