Dr. Shwet Sabnis

Dr. Shwet Sabnis is a distinguished Physician & Geriatric Specialist with extensive experience in the care of older adults.After earning a MBBS degree, Dr. Sabnis completed a residency in Geriatric Medicine, where he honed his skills, in not only managing common diseases like Diabetes, Hypertension, Lung disorders, Cardiac problems, Thyroid disorders, Infections - Malaria, Dengue, Typhoid, TB, etc but also complex, age-related conditions like Alzheimer’s disease, Dementia care, Parkinson’s disease, Stroke, Elderly-vaccination, etc and complex life-decisions like advance directives, chronic pain & palliative care and end-of-life care.In addition to clinical practice, Dr. Sabnis is actively involved in research and education, and contributing to advancements in Geriatric Care and mentoring the next generation of Physicians and Geriatricians. Having previously worked in hospitals like Lilavati, MGM, GMC & Sir JJ group of hospitals, he is currently Associate Professor at DYPU, Nerul.
