Dr. Anil Bhatia

Dr. Anil Bhatia is an orthopaedic surgeon in Navi Mumbai with 36 years of practice. He is a consultant at Apollo Hospital. He has served as secretary of the Brachial Plexus Surgery Group of India from 2007 to 2009 and as its president from 2013 to 2015, is the only representative from India at Club Narakas, an international club of surgeons dedicated to brachial plexus injuries and obstetric palsies, and convened the Brachial Plexus Defined 2016 live surgical workshop in Pune.He completed his MBBS at the University of Bombay in 1987 and his MS in Orthopaedics from the same university in 1990. He has been registered with the Maharashtra Medical Council since 1987. He has been faculty at cadaveric dissection courses in brachial plexus techniques in Alicante and Bangkok, at the Asia Pacific Federation of Societies for Reconstructive Microsurgery conference in Beijing in 2016, and at the Corso Morelli advanced course in peripheral nerve and microvascular surgery at the University of Monza, Italy.His work covers joint replacement surgery, arthroscopy, fracture fixation, knee, hip, back and neck pain, arthritis management, foot drop, foot injuries and diabetic foot check-ups.
