On 27-Oct-2025, upon a friend's recommendation, I visited Dr. Anand Krishnamurthy at The Art of Smiles, Vashi. I have a "High Vasovagal Syncope" tendency, that is a fainting response triggered by fear, the sight of blood, or clinical or hospital environments.

Dr. Anand instantly identified and put me at ease with his friendly demeanor and subtle “chairside tricks” then engaging in light, professional humor and friendly conversation that beautifully diffused my Anxiety. Within minutes, my usual fear and syncope response dropped to the lowest level, allowing me to remain calm and composed throughout the consultation.

He carried out a meticulous examination of every tooth with patience and precision. He diagnosed issues in two teeth that require root canal and fillings and crown capping. His clinical expertise, adherence to sterilization protocols, and commitment to Top-Grade Hygiene were clearly evident.

Hello, my name is Chinappa and I had visited Dr Anand Krishnamurthy initially for dental implants because I had consulted almost 5 clinics in Mumbai and Navi Mumbai for planning. My teeth replacement as I had no teeth in the upper jaw due to wearing dentures for 15 years.

There was no bone as I was told to do implants and teeth fixing however, Dr Anand due to his vast experience told me that Implants will be possible, and I will have to go for special implants, called Zygomatic implants, which needs to be done in my case. I came to realize from Practo and Google that Dr Anand yes and zygoma Implant Expert and went ahead with the surgery. Surgery was smooth and I got to Zygoma implants and two before front implants for fixed teeth in the upper jaw. It’s been more than three years now and I have no problems and completely satisfied with the work done Dr Anand to us and my family is a savior because he could do what other dentist told me can’t be done. anyone looking for a good implant dentist can visit him as he can provide more options than normal dentist do !!

I have been averse to going to a dentist as i have had a phobia since i was treated very badly by one and the surgery that he did on me went south. I have not nbeen to a dentist in 10 yrs ,unfortunately i had to go as i was in a lot of pain.

the proffesiona approach by the team from Citizen made it a smooth start to begin with. I met with DR Anand and we really hit it off well and he made me feel so much at ease and worked with me to get that intial fear . I have to say he has a lot of Patience to deal with patients like me who are difficult.

I was able to get a Doc who was not interested in just treating me like cattle in fact we spoke about every thing and low and behlod it was done and i did not feel any discomfort.

Do t let this Doctor appence be deceptive to you his humble and shy demenour might just put be a little pseudo as the man is full of life and laughte.

My father was struggling with his dentures. I looked up for a dentist who is good for implants. Dr. Anand Krishnamurthy implanted two posts on the lower jaw for holding the bottom denture. The entire procedure of old tooth removal and implantation of the posts was done in one sitting and the wounds healed within a week. Then the dentures were meticulously made and my father got a nice fit. Very good doctor. Strongly recommended. He is very friend and takes time to explain the procedure to the patients.
