I visited Dr. Shirish Ghan for pain due to swollen salivary gland. I had a small stone of around 0.9mm. Most of the other ENT specialists I visited in Pune recommended me to remove the gland through an external surgery. Dr. Ghan was the first to advice me to not remove a functioning gland and he removed the stone via sialendoscopy. Before reaching out to him I had researched on my own and found that he is one of the best doctors in India for sialendoscopy. My experience with Dr Ghan was very comfortable and pleasant. He was professional but caring and made extra efforts to calm me and mother before the surgery. The surgery went well. For a few days I felt my tongue heavy but the doctor had assured me that it was normal to feel that way and it did wore off after some time. He would regularly check-up on me after surgery and encouraged me to contact him anytime if necessary. Now I am completely fine and pain free. I am grateful to have found Dr Ghan as other wise I would've been left with no option but to remove the gland. I would recommend anyone to visit Dr Ghan for issues related to ear, nose, and throat.

Dr. Shrish removed stones in my submandibular gland 1 month before my marriage. Many other doctors suggested an external surgery which would have an 1.5-2 inch scar near the chin.
