Dr. Shirish Ghan , an caring , excellent *** **** ******** surgeon , I met. He is of unique personality

and feel very comfortable to patient. He has done

my sialendoscopy surgery to remove stone in submandibular gland. I am grateful to him

for the treatment before and after surgery, which is admirable. It is very rare , that doctor did the follow up after surgery himself by phone call.

I visited Dr. Shirish Ghan for pain due to swollen salivary gland. I had a small stone of around 0.9mm. Most of the other ENT specialists I visited in Pune recommended me to remove the gland through an external surgery. Dr. Ghan was the first to advice me to not remove a functioning gland and he removed the stone via sialendoscopy. Before reaching out to him I had researched on my own and found that he is one of the best doctors in India for sialendoscopy. My experience with Dr Ghan was very comfortable and pleasant. He was professional but caring and made extra efforts to calm me and mother before the surgery. The surgery went well. For a few days I felt my tongue heavy but the doctor had assured me that it was normal to feel that way and it did wore off after some time. He would regularly check-up on me after surgery and encouraged me to contact him anytime if necessary. Now I am completely fine and pain free. I am grateful to have found Dr Ghan as other wise I would've been left with no option but to remove the gland. I would recommend anyone to visit Dr Ghan for issues related to ear, nose, and throat.

Dr. Shrish removed stones in my submandibular gland 1 month before my marriage. Many other doctors suggested an external surgery which would have an 1.5-2 inch scar near the chin. External surgery meant removal of the gland and also had a danger of affecting a nerve which is responsible for facial expressions. Dr. Shrish came as a blessing in my life. He not only saved me from a scar but also saved a gland. Within 2 weeks of the operation I was as good as noting had happened. He's a person who is down to earth and his stature touches the sky. The care he takes of this patients is same as a parent takes care of their child. I had all my follow up sessions over the call on his mobile. Dr. Shrish changed my general opinion about the doctors. Dr. Shirish is a unique personality, godly figure I would say. A serious operation followed by IVRs and ineffective heavy antibiotics as submandibular gland stone resurfaced after 6 months of initial operation. I was experiencing inexplicable pain and hunger as you can’t eat/drink (even water) with stone and infection plus the covid fear, when I got to know of Dr. Shirish few days back. Had one conversation over the phone with him, changed my prescription as per his suggestion and I was eating chapati the next day, after 5 days. He charged me nothing & we’ve never even met.

Overall very good experience with the Dr. I took my son for ear pain, . Dr explained the condition well and removed the ear wax. My son is doing much better now.

I am sure there must be some limit of taking fees from the patients.

This is my first time visiting to ENT but was stunned by seeing the Fees these Doctors are Collecting. I am so sorry to say that Poor people like me could not afford to go in clinic like this. There should be govt control over the fees. Thanks
