The doctor clearly mentioned the risk of parasthesia as IAN was very close to the roots of the horizontally impacted wisdom tooth of the lower jaw. However, he was very deft in the removal ensuring minimal pain, and tried making te the surgery as less invasive as possible. All procedure performed under local anaesthetic and both set of teeth (upper and lower) on same side removed in a single sitting in about 30-35 minutes. Recovery was quick and much less painful than expected.
