Dr. Harshavardhan G Ghorpade

Dr Harshavardhan Ghorpade is a Cornea, Cataract and Refractive surgeon at Fortis Hospital Navi Mumbai. Dr. Harshavardhan Ghorpade followed his MBBS (Mumbai), Masters (MS, Pune) and DNB (Diplomate of National board, New Delhi) with a fellow-ship in Phacoemulsification Cataract surgery where he performed a large number of complicated cataract surgeries. He is also trained for the same under Dr TP Lahane who is a world record holder Cataract surgeon. Dr . Ghorpade has performed more than 3000 phacoemulsification cataract surgeries and many other eye surgeries including Ocular trauma. He has completed his further training in Cornea and Ocular surface disease from UK. He has worked under world renowned Cornea specialist and Ex- President of the Royal college of Ophthalmology, Prof. HS Dua. This was followed by an advanced course in laser refractive surgeries, LASIK and Femto LASIK, with Dr Rupal Shah who is a pioneer of laser refractive surgeries in India.
