Causes sleepiness

How it works
Levodopa gets converted into dopamine in the brain and relieves the symptoms of Parkinson's disease. Carbidopa prevents the breakdown of levodopa in the bloodstream and the stomach, which is effective in increasing the amount of levodopa available for transport to the brain. Their combination is thus better effective for treating the symptoms of Parkinson's disease.
