Description
Syndopa 110 Tablet is a combination medicine of Levodopa and Carbidopa. It is used to treat the symptoms of Parkinson's disease (a CNS disorder that affects movement, often including tremors (shivering)) and Parkinson's-like symptoms such as shakiness, stiffness, and slowness of movement, etc associated with some other conditions. These symptoms are usually caused by a lack of dopamine, a natural substance present in the brain. Syndopa 110 Tablet works by increasing the action of dopamine, a chemical messenger that is needed to control information transfer in the brain. Syndopa 110 Tablet cause side effects like include nausea, fatigue constipation, hallucination and dry mouth. Consult your doctor if these side effects disturb you or persist for a longer period. This medicine cause dizziness and sleepiness. Hence, it is advised to avoid driving vehicles or operating machines after taking Syndopa 110 Tablet. Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to it. Syndopa 110 Tablet is a prescription medicine and should be taken only upon doctor advice. This tablet can be taken orally with or without food at a dose prescribed by your doctor. Syndopa 110 Tablet should be taken till the duration advised by your doctor. Do not stop taking this medicine on your own unless told by your doctor. Stopping on your own may make recur your symptoms or worsen. Syndopa 110 Tablet may interact with other medicine you are taking. Let your doctor know if you have/had any medical problems and medicines you are taking before the treatment. Allergy

Nonselective monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs)

Syndopa 110 Tablet is not recommended for use if you are taking nonselective monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) or have taken these medicines in the past 14 days due to the increased risk of severe drug-drug interactions. It is advised to inform your doctor about all their current medicines including herbs and supplements before beginning therapy with this medicine.

Syndopa 110 Tablet should be used with caution if you have any kidney/liver problem due to the increased risk of severe adverse effects. Close monitoring of kidney and liver function tests, appropriate dose adjustments, or replacement with a suitable alternative may be required in some cases based on the clinical condition.

Use in children

Syndopa 110 Tablet is not recommended for use in children less than 18 years of age since the safety and efficacy of use are not clinically established.

Low blood pressure levels

Missed Dose

Syndopa 110 Tablet is not recommended for use if you have neuroleptic malignant syndrome due to the increased risk of worsening of the health condition.
