Description
Restasis 0.05 % Eye Drops is a medicine that contains Cyclosporine. It is used in the treatment of dry eyes (an eye condition that occurs when the eyes do not produce enough tears or when the tears evaporate too quickly). This medicine works by decreasing the swelling in your eyes which helps in improving tear production and provides relief from discomfort in the eyes. Restasis 0.05 % Eye Drops may cause side effects such as pain, redness, itching, irritation of your eyes, blurred vision, watery eyes, etc. These symptoms usually subside on their own. However, consult your doctor if these symptoms persist for a long time or worsen. Avoid driving vehicles or operating machines if you experience these symptoms after using this medicine. Restasis 0.05 % Eye Drops should be used as prescribed by your doctor. Consult your doctor if you use contact lenses. Inform your doctor if you develop an eye infection while using this medicine. Restasis 0.05 % Eye Drops is not recommended if you are allergic to it. Inform your doctor if you are using any other eye drops to avoid undesired side effects. Restasis 0.05 % Eye Drops is meant for ophthalmic use only. Use this medicine as instructed by your doctor. Avoid touching the tip of the dropper against your eye or other surfaces. Close the lid of the dropper after each use to keep it clean and free from contamination. Do not wipe or rinse the dropper tip. Use Restasis 0.05 % Eye Drops at around the same time daily for the ease of remembering. Do not discontinue the use of this medicine without consulting your doctor. Do not give Restasis 0.05 % Eye Drops to others even if their condition appears to be the same as yours. Keep the medicine away from the reach of children and pets. Ensure that the unused medicine is disposed of properly.
