This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with acute liver disease or a known history of liver injury due to the use of this medicine. It should be used with caution in patients with a history of liver diseases due to the increased risk of serious liver injuries which may be fatal. Hematopoietic disturbances

This medicine should be used with extreme caution in patients with preexisting bone marrow depression or blood dyscrasias due to the increased risk of serious hematopoietic abnormalities. These abnormalities may include thrombocytopenia, leukopenia, decreased hemoglobin levels, acute hemolytic anemia, etc. Close monitoring of complete blood counts, appropriate dose adjustments, or replacement with a suitable alternative may be necessary based on the clinical condition of the patient.
