Description
Met Xl 1 MG Injection is a beta-blocker that works on the heart and blood vessels. It is used for the treatment of cardiac arrhythmia, a condition where the heart can beat too fast, too slow or with an irregular pattern. Met Xl 1 MG Injection slows down the activity of your heart allowing your heart to beat slower and less forcefully. Met Xl 1 MG Injection is also used to treat acute myocardial infarction (heart attack) and reduce the risk of death. It is used in patients who have already had a heart attack. A heart attack occurs when one of the heart's blood vessel is blocked due to a clot or blood flow decreases or stops to the heart. Met Xl 1 MG Injection causes blood vessels to relax which helps to reduce the blood pressure and improves the blood flow to the heart. Side effects of Met Xl 1 MG Injection are dizziness, headache, breathing difficulty, and pain at the injection site. It is administered into your vein by a health care professional in a hospital or clinic. Appropriate lifestyle changes like low-fat diet, exercise, and smoking cessation should be followed for the best possible effects.
