Description
Lynx 125 mg Suspension is an antibiotic medicine containing lincomycin. It is used for the treatment of bacterial infections. It treats infection of the lungs, skin, bones, joints, stomach, and intestine. This medicine stops the growth of bacteria that causes infection. Lynx 125 mg Suspension is not effective against infections caused by viruses. The common side effects of Lynx 125 mg Suspension may include diarrhoea, rashes, headache, nausea and vomiting. Contact your doctor if any of these symptoms are seen for a longer period of time. Do not use this medicine if you are previously allergic to it. Lynx 125 mg Suspension is one of the effective antibiotics given to infants, children and adults. Take Lynx 125 mg Suspension on an empty stomach to avoid food interactions. The dose and frequency of the suspension will be decided by your doctor based on the severity of your infection and other underlying conditions. Once an antibiotic is started, it is always recommended to finish the entire course of treatment. For the ease of remembering, take it around the same time every day. General warnings

Diarrhoea

Lynx 125 mg Suspension can cause diarrhoea as a side effect, because it may kill the helpful bacteria in your stomach or intestine. Consult your doctor if you experience watery stools for more than 7 days.

Antibiotic resistance

Finish your entire course of treatment with Lynx 125 mg Suspension, even if the condition gets better after taking few doses. Because abrupt stopping may result in antibiotic resistance (the bacteria may become resistant to antibiotics).

Allergic reactions

Lynx 125 mg Suspension may cause hypersensitivity skin reactions characterised by rash, peeling skin, swelling of your face or tongue, skin blisters in or around your nose, mouth, and eyes. Discontinue the medicine if these symptoms appear.

Missed Dose

Try not to skip a scheduled dose of Lynx 125 mg Suspension. If you forget a dose of Lynx 125 mg Suspension, take it as soon as you remember. If it got delayed for more than 12 hours, skip the missed dose and take your next dose at the usual time, but do not double the dose to make up for the missed one.
