Description

Hexamox 250 MG Tablet is an antibiotic that is used for treating a wide variety of bacterial infections of the lungs and airways, middle ear, sinuses, skin, urinary tract, etc. This medicine is not recommended for treating a common cold, flu, or other viral infections since it is not effective in treating these infections.

    This medicine is used to treat infections of the middle ear caused by Streptococci and Staphylococci strains of bacteria.
  • Nose Infection (Sinusitis)

    This medicine is used in the treatment of infections of the nose and nasal chamber caused by Streptococci and Staphylococci strains of bacteria.
  • Lower Respiratory Tract Infection

    This medicine is used in the treatment of infections of the airways leading to the lungs. The infections can be Pneumonia, acute bronchitis, or others caused by Streptococci and Staphylococci strains of bacteria.
  • Skin Infection

    This medicine is used in the treatment of infections of the skin and skin structures caused by Streptococci and Staphylococci strains of bacteria.
  • Urinary Tract Infection

    This medicine is used in the treatment of infections of the bladder (Cystitis) and kidneys (Pyelonephritis).
  • Gonorrhea and associated infections

    This medicine is not recommended for use if you have a known allergy to amoxicillin, any other medicines belonging to the penicillins or cephalosporins groups, or any other inactive ingredients present along with it.

    - Usage of this medicine without sufficient proof or suspicion of a bacterial infection should be avoided. Irrational dosing might fail in providing the benefits and even cause toxicity. It may also increase the risk of development of bacteria that are drug resistant.

    - This medicine should be used with caution in patients with known history of renal diseases due to the increased risk of severe adverse effects. Close monitoring of kidney function, appropriate dose adjustments, or replacement with a suitable alternative may be required in some cases based on the clinical condition.
