Description
Hcqs 200 mg Tablet is an antimalarial medication. It is used to treat or prevent malaria (an illness caused by parasites that spread through the bite of infected mosquitoes). Hcqs 200 mg Tablet is also used for the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis (a chronic condition that involves swelling and pain in the small joint) and systemic lupus erythematosus (a chronic inflammatory condition that occurs when your immune system attacks the body causing skin rash, joint pain, and tiredness). Hydroxychloroquine at a dose of 400 mg is also used as an additional treatment for type-2 diabetes (high blood sugar levels that may occur when your body does not use the insulin it makes properly to move sugar from the blood into the cells). Hcqs 200 mg Tablet shows some side effects like headache, nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, diarrhoea, stomach pain, etc. These side effects may subside by themselves. However, consult your doctor if they bother you for a long time or worsen. Hcqs 200 mg Tablet is a prescription medicine. Take this medicine with food to avoid stomach upset. Your doctor may determine the dose and duration of treatment based on your clinical condition. Do not take more than the recommended dose. Avoid discontinuing this medicine without consulting your doctor, as it may worsen your condition. Hcqs 200 mg Tablet should be avoided if you are allergic to it. General warnings

Hearing problem

Myasthenia gravis

Myasthenia gravis is a condition that causes severe weakness and fatigue of the muscles under voluntary control. Hcqs 200 mg Tablet should be used with caution if you have myasthenia gravis as it may further aggravate your condition.

Kidney disease

Hcqs 200 mg Tablet should be used with caution if you have kidney problems as it may cause an accumulation of this medicine in the body and increase the risk of undesired effects. Your doctor may recommend dose adjustments based on your clinical condition.

Glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase (G-6-PD) deficiency

Glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase (G-6-PD) deficiency is an inherited condition in which the body doesn't have enough of an enzyme called G6PD (glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase). This deficiency may cause the red blood cells to break down prematurely. Hcqs 200 mg Tablet should be used with caution if you have G-6-PD deficiency as it may cause further destruction of red blood cells and kidney problems. Your doctor may suggest tests to monitor your blood cell counts and haemoglobin levels periodically during treatment with this medicine.

Missed Dose

Avoid missing a scheduled dose of Hcqs 200 mg Tablet. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is time for your next dose, skip the missed dose. Do not double your dose to make up for the missed one.

Retinopathy is any damage to the retina of the eyes, which may cause vision impairment.
