Description
Dixin 0.25 MG Tablet is a medicine used in the treatment of heart failure (inability of the heart to pump an adequate amount of blood) and atrial fibrillation (an abnormal heart rhythm caused by faulty electrical signals in the upper portion of your heart leading to poor blood supply). It works by increasing the flow of electrolytes (sodium and calcium) within the cells, which helps in improving the strength and efficacy of your heart. It increases the force of contraction of the heart muscle for the proper supply of blood throughout the body. Dixin 0.25 MG Tablet shows common side effects such as rash, headache, restlessness, nausea, stomach pain, weakness, or diarrhoea. These side effects usually subside with time. However, if they persist or worsen, consult your doctor for further assistance. Avoid driving vehicles or operating heavy machines while taking this medication as it can cause dizziness or drowsiness. Dixin 0.25 MG Tablet can be taken with or without food. Follow the instructions given by your doctor about the dose and duration of treatment. Do not crush, chew, or break the tablet. Swallow it as a whole with a glass of water. Take the medication at the same time every day for ease of remembering. Take this medicine for the recommended duration for the best results. Avoid the discontinuation of Dixin 0.25 MG Tablet without consulting your doctor, as your condition may become worse. Dixin 0.25 MG Tablet is not recommended if you are allergic to it or if you have ventricular fibrillation (an abnormal heart rhythm due to defective electrical impulses in the lower portion of your heart). It should be used with caution if you have AV block (abnormal electrical signals of the heart), heart attack (a life-threatening condition that may occur due to the blockage of blood flow to the heart), slow heartbeats, Wolff-Parkinson-White Syndrome (extra electrical signals in the heart leading to rapid heartbeats). Inform your doctor on priority if you have a kidney condition, thyroid condition (inability of the thyroid gland to produce an adequate amount of hormones), electrolyte imbalance (such as low levels of potassium, calcium, or magnesium in the blood), myocarditis (swelling of the heart muscle), or Beri Beri heart disease (a heart condition caused due to lack of Vitamin B1 in the body). Dixin 0.25 MG Tablet should only be taken during pregnancy and breastfeeding after consulting with your doctor. Follow all the instructions given by your doctor if your child is receiving the medicine.
