Allergy

General warnings

Sinus Bradycardia and Sino-atrial Block

This medicine should be used with caution in patients suffering from heart disorders due to the risk of low blood pressure and heart block. Close monitoring of heart function is necessary while receiving this medicine. Appropriate dose adjustments or replacement with a suitable alternative may be required based on the clinical condition.

Digoxin toxicity

This medicine has an increase in the risk of toxicity due to its narrow therapeutic index. Close monitoring of blood levels is necessary. Any symptoms of anorexia, nausea, vomiting, visual changes and cardiac arrhythmias should be informed to the doctor.

Hypokalemia and Hypomagnesemia

This medicine when used with potassium-depleting diuretics, may increase the risk of low potassium (Hypokalemia) and low magnesium (Hypomagnesemia) blood levels. Appropriate dose adjustments or replacement with a suitable alternative may be required in some cases based on the clinical condition.

Other medicines
