Description
Coversyl-AM 4/5 Tablet is a combination of Amlodipine and Perindopril. It is used for the treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure) and stable coronary artery disease (a condition where the blood flow to the heart is blocked or restricted). This medicine works by relaxing your blood vessels which eases blood flow easily and controls your blood pressure. This will also reduce the risk of heart attack or a stroke by making it easier for your heart to pump blood throughout your body. Coversyl-AM 4/5 Tablet shows side effects like cough, decreased blood pressure, dizziness, back pain, diarrhoea, vomiting, and swelling in your ankles or feet. These side effects are temporary and will go away with time. Coversyl-AM 4/5 Tablet should be taken before your meal. Take this medicine at the same time every day to avoid any missed dose. Even if you feel better or your blood pressure appears to be under control, do not stop taking it. Abrupt discontinuation may lead to side effects or a sudden increase in your blood pressure. This medicine is safe for long-term use. Coversyl-AM 4/5 Tablet is not recommended for use in children below 18 years of age. Inform your doctor if you have any history of kidney, liver, and heart problems or any other condition.
