Description
Clarimin 500 MG Injection is a macrolide antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections of the lungs, airways, skin and nose. It stops the growth of bacteria causing the infection. It is not effective against infections caused by viruses. Common side effects of Clarimin 500 MG Injection are diarrhoea, muscle pain, headache, weakness, skin rash, and pain at the injection site. Inform your doctor if you are allergic to this medicine. Use it cautiously in individuals with liver problems. Clarimin 500 MG Injection is injected into a vein. Your doctor will determine how many doses you need each day and how often the injections should be given. Once an antibiotic is started, it is always recommended to finish the entire course of treatment.

Allergy

The combined use of Clarimin 500 MG Injection and statins (cholesterol medicines) such as atorvastatin, simvastatin, etc., can cause serious side effects on muscles such as pain, tenderness, or weakness.

Gastrointestinal Diseases

Clarimin 500 MG Injection can kill the helpful bacteria in your stomach or intestine and leads to diarrhoea. Therefore use Clarimin 500 MG Injection with extreme caution in patients with gastrointestinal (mouth to anus) diseases, particularly colitis (swelling of the inner lining of the colon), since it may worsen the patient's condition.

Myasthenia Gravis

Myasthenia gravis is a skeletal muscle weakness condition characterized by severe weakness of any of the muscles under your voluntary control, including the arms and legs. Use Clarimin 500 MG Injection with extreme caution in patients with myasthenia gravis since it may get worsen.
