Kidney impairment

Hyperkalemia

This medicine may increase the levels of potassium in the body and may increase the risk of arrhythmia. Close monitoring of potassium levels is necessary while receiving this medicine. Medicines that can increase the potassium levels like ACE inhibitors and potassium-sparing diuretics should be avoided. Appropriate corrective measures, dose adjustments, or replacement with a suitable alternative may be required in some cases based on the clinical condition of the patient.

Hypertension

This medicine should be used with extreme caution in patients suffering from elevated blood pressure due to the increased risk of worsening of the patient's condition. Close monitoring of blood pressure levels is necessary while receiving this medicine. Appropriate dose adjustments or replacement with a suitable alternative may be required in some cases based on the clinical condition of the patient.
