Description

Phenergan 5 MG Elixiris an antihistamine with sedative properties which is used to treat allergic reactions such as the runny nose, itching, sneezing, itchy or watery eyes, hives, rashes. It is also used to treat nausea and vomiting caused due to motion sickness and pre and postoperative sedation. This medicine is not recommended in patients with asthma and central nervous system depression disorders.

What is it prescribed for?

Allergic Rhinitis

This medicine is used in the treatment of the condition called allergic rhinitis (inflammation of the nose due to overreaction of the immune system due to external factors like allergens). The usual signs and symptoms for allergic rhinitis are stuffy or runny nose, itchy and watery eyes, redness or sneezing nose etc and sometimes swelling in the eyes.

Sedation

This medicine used as a sedative in patients before and after surgery, during labour, and at other times.

Nausea and vomiting

This medicine is used to prevent and control nausea and vomiting in postoperative patients.

Motion sickness

This medicine used to prevent and treat motion sickness, characterized by fatigue, uneasiness, dizziness and vomiting.

Urticaria

This medicine is used in the treatment of the condition called urticaria (a type of rash triggered due to many factors like medicine, food, or any external factors that may result in red and itchy rashes, raised bumps on the skin, etc.
