Phenergan - Motion sicknes 1.5 year baby

Phenergan to treat Motion sickness in car for 1.5 year old . Is it OK or some other medicine or home remedy is there. We will go for long drive and my son vomits very fast while he is in a car :(

Make him sit in the front passenger seat,where motion is less. Give Tab stugeron or vertigon 1/4 th tab 30 mins before journey.
