What is it prescribed for?

Gingivitis

This medicine is used to treat the inflammation (swelling) of the gums due to a bacterial infection.

Mucositis

This medicine is used to treat the painful inflammation (swelling) and ulceration of the mucous membranes in the mouth.

Prevention of dental caries (Tooth decay)

This medicine is used in the prevention of dental caries, characterized by tooth sensitivity, mild to moderate pain when eating or drinking something hot, sweet or cold etc.

Oral candida infections

This medicine is used in the management of mouth fungal infections.

Dental plaque

This medicine is used in the prevention of formation of tooth plaque, a soft, sticky biofilm that builds up on the teeth due to bacterial growth on surfaces within the mouth.
