Disease interactions
Bupron SR 150 Tablet should be used with caution if you have liver problems as it may cause an accumulation of this medicine in the body, thus increasing the risk of side effects. Your doctor may recommend appropriate dose adjustments based on your clinical condition.
Angle-closure glaucoma is a condition that develops when the drainage angle (a structure inside the eye that allows the draining of the fluid from the eye) gets blocked. This may cause an increase in fluid pressure inside the eyes and lead to vision loss. Bupron SR 150 Tablet should be used with caution if you have angle-closure glaucoma as this medicine may cause an increase in fluid pressure within the eyes and further worsen your condition.
Bupron SR 150 Tablet should be used with caution as it may cause confusion, hallucinations, psychosis (a mental health condition characterised by loss of contact with reality), etc. Consult your doctor if you have any concerns.
Bupron SR 150 Tablet may cause activation of mania or hypomania. Hence it should be used with caution if you have a family history of mania (abnormally elevated mood and hyperactivity), hypomania (less serve form of mania with energy levels higher than usual), or bipolar disorder (extreme mood changes with emotional highs and lows).

Urine test for Amphetamines
Report the use of Bupron SR 150 Tablet to the doctor before undergoing a urine test for the screening of Amphetamines (central nervous system stimulant medicine). A false-positive result may be obtained if this test is performed while taking this medicine.
