Ms. Shivangi Khurana Mehra

I am so fortunate to have consulted Ms. Shivangi, a friend highly recommended once I told her about about my eating habits. I was gaining weight because of the lockdown and wanted a remedy for this new lifestyle.

Shivangi did a great job of understanding the way I work and providing insightful comments for ways of rethinking food, preparation and planning. She was a great listener and extremely easy to open up to (very approachable). I really enjoyed how we managed to change habits, set a strong baseline with good food preparation and planning, and providing a different perspective on nutrition seemingly without trying. I now feel I have a great system in place that I can build from. I think I came in expecting to be told that in order to get to my goals, I should do x, y and z – and follow a, b and c meal plans or e.g. don’t eat after 9pm / stop eating bread etc. i.e. a more prescriptive approach. Instead what we did was to look at my relationship with food, using the way I think, and a few simple mindset changes – a hugely more effective process.

I'm having elevated tryglycerdide levels and i was confused with diet plan, ma'am has advised me a right plan. I really want to appreciate ma'am for giving me valuable advice. I recommend every one to consult a dietician before opting for a diet plan .

I didn’t realize how strong my “diet mentality” was, and all the rules I had in my head about food. I was in a cycle of reward/punish/binge/cringe. I booked with Ms Shivangi very reluctantly, on the repeated advice of my doctor, to get my slowly rising cholesterol levels in check. I thought I knew everything about food, and my behaviour with food, but I was definitely re-schooled. My weight is creeping down, I feel good about my diet, exercise, body image, and lifestyle.
