The doctor dons the 'patient hat' while addressing the patient. Her process is simple yet mightily effective. She has this innate - and quite beneficial for the patient - tendency to bring the patients back to appreciating concerns about their health whenever they deviate from the normal course of treatment. The aforesaid ability is not only difficult to practice but also to sustain, and she does it with relative ease. This sets her apart from all the doctors practising all streams, let alone Ayurveda. Dr Soumya took time to understand the history - so that she can go deeper into what I was facing and how to solve it. She didnt hurry up in the process like most of the doctors. She also explained why she is asking the questions and gave some very interesting perspectives during the period
