Doctor was directly pushing for colonoscopy , however the condition could be treated with normal medication

I had consulted the doctor and it was for my liver related and regarding jaundice. ****** *** ***** I visited twice. Two tablets was prescribed by the doctor. Blood test, liver function test, INR test was done. I got recovered. My family doctor already treated me. I went for consultation. He had responded very well. ** ** **** ******************* He is senior of my family doctor. I am satisfied with the treatment given. My family doctor is under his vertical. I can recommend doctor to my family or friends. Waiting time was for 3- 4 hours in hospital. OPD Patients come and it took time and It can be reduced. I am good now. I am following normal diet.

Dr. Goutam Das, supposedly a renowned gastroenterologist in Kolkata was the rudest doctor I've ever had the misfortune of consulting. I visited him at AMRI Dhakuria for a problem. He started writing the prescription even before I was done describing my symptoms and jotted down a bunch of tests. He made no attempt to explain the dosages or functions of the medicines he prescribed, neither did he address the health problems I had gone to him for. When I asked him again what I should do about the acute problem I was facing, he very rudely told me off. It seemed he was only interested in prescribing investigative tests **** ** *** **** **** ** ******* *******, and not in explaining anything to or addressing the patient's problem. * ******* **** ** *** ****** **** *** **** **** * *** ********** ***** *** **** ***** ****** ****** ******* ** *** ************ ****** ** ********** ***** ***** **** **** *** ****** ****** *** ********** **** *** ************* ******** *** ******** *** *** ********* *** **** **** ** * *********** ****** *** *** **** **** ** * ****** ******** ******* *** ***** * *******

1. Late to the time specified. Doctor arrived at his clinic two hours after my appointment time.

2. He did not explain anything about what could be the cause of the pain. He was very eager to suggest a lot of tests, which is absolutely required. But he did not share anything about what all could be the possible causes of pain. He did not suggest what diet or precautions that needs to be taken. *** ***** ****** *** ** * ****** ** *** ***** **** ** he wants to quickly run through the patients.

I had visited the hospital for my wife as she had gastric issue. ****** *** **** ***** Medicine was prescribed by the doctor.  I am satisfied with the treatment given. I can recommend doctor to my family or friends. He is one of famous doctor. My wife health is good now.

Waiting time was for 1 hour. She is fine now. Hospitality was good. 

Not interested in listening to problems of the patient and extremely rude. Absolutely not recommended.
